2025 College Student Sci-Tech Innovation Award Ceremony & Launch Event

At 19:30 on February 8, the School of Electrical Engineering (SEE) held the 2025 Summary and commendation meeting for College Students' Science and Technology Innovation and the launch ceremony for the Science and Technology Innovation initiative at Xipu Campus. Mr. Wang Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering, Mr. Li Jing-bo, Vice Dean of Undergraduate Academy, Mr. Zheng Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee; Mr. Xing Xiao-peng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Han Ying, Vice Dean, Ms. Zhang Yi, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, all freshmen of undergraduate class 2025 and counselors attended the meeting.
In 2025, the college won 45 national first prizes, 58 national second prizes, 45 national third prizes, and 429 provincial/ministerial awards in Category A competitions, with the total number of awards increasing by 10% year-on-year. Mr. Han Ying pointed out that the college closely revolves around the fundamental task of "cultivating talents with virtue" and has provided solid institutional, organizational, and resource guarantees for undergraduate science and technology innovation.
Subsequently, SEE recognized the "Science and Technology Innovation Stars" of 2025, encouraging them to maintain their proactive stance and achieve even greater success in their academic exploration and scientific research endeavors.
